Hello, loves!

I have some SUPER exciting news! My book is available for pre-order today!!! The Yes, You Can Devotional releases on February 1, 2018… but you can go ahead and pre-order your copy now. That means that you will be the first to get it as soon as it releases!

I poured so much of my heart into this book, writing what I felt the Lord wanted to say to his daughters. God began to stir a vision for this book in my heart in 2014 when my first daughter was born. I was learning how to be a new mom and also how to start a non-profit organization and live in another country…. I can’t tell you how many times I said to myself, “You can do this.” Back then, they were just words to repeat to myself in difficult times so I wouldn’t give up!

Then, the Lord led me to Philippians 4:13 in the Amplified Version of the Bible. It says “I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]”

That verse changed my life. I began to rely on Jesus for everything. Even in some of the most difficult circumstances overseas, I knew that THROUGH HIM I could do all things!

When we came home to raise money to start a refuge home in Peru, God continued to place impossible dreams in our hearts that could only be accomplished with His help. As I continued to write this devotional, the Lord led me to go back to school to get two Masters Degrees and paved the way for me to get a tuition waiver for those degrees. During that time, He also led us to plant a church in Brazil through The Lily and The Sparrow. Not too long after that, we got pregnant with our second daughter. I gave my final presentations at GSU holding an infant! All of those things make up the testimony that God was birthing in my life during my final writing and editing stages of this devotional.

I learned that as daughters of the King, we really can do ALL things through Christ. God also showed me that the enemy of our souls tries to give us a false identity, and that if we have a revelation of who we really are in Christ, nothing can stop us!

I am so excited for this devotional to be released on February 1st! I know that God will use it to empower so many girls and women to walk in their true identity, and that because of that, the world will be changed by a generation of women who know that they can do all things through Christ. My prayer is that this may be a generation that looks in the mirror every day, confident in their heritage as daughters of the King, and says to themselves, “Yes, You Can!”
